These coffee grinders are better option than Burr type, as they rotate very slowly and generate maximum number of particles steadily. To prepare Turkish coffee, percolate, espresso, or French press, you need this type of coffee grinder.

Working of an Electric Coffee Grinder
Coffee grinders are used to grind coffee beans; before preparing a cup of coffee with fresh taste and flavor, it is necessary to grind coffee beans to fine powder. For this purpose, an electric coffee grinder is best and no other coffee grinder can grind powder so finely.
Coming to its working, the electric coffee grind machine has an in-built grinding wheel, which is connected to an electrical motor that is embedded in the machine. Whenever you switch on coffee grinder, the grinding wheel rotates and grinds coffee bean into powder.
Coming to working of a manual coffee grinder, it is not supplied with electricity and the coffee beans need to be grinded manually. Even though manual coffee grinder can grind coffee beans and turn out to be cheaper in terms of cost, it is not as efficient as an electric coffee grinder. Note that fine powder of coffee beans tastes slightly bitter.
